OCI Global, a leading producer and distributor of nitrogen products, has struck a deal to sell 100% of its stake in OCI Ammonia Holding BV to European nitrogen giant AGROFERT. The transaction is valued at €290 million.

OCI Ammonia Holding owns OCI Terminal Europoort (Rotterdam), the company’s ammonia import and storage hub, and OCI Ammonia Distribution, its European ammonia distribution platform serving third-party customers.

The sale is expected to close in the first half of 2026, pending regulatory approvals and shareholder consent. OCI’s Geleen production facility will retain access to the Europoort terminal under a new throughput agreement, ensuring ongoing ammonia supply flexibility.

OCI said it is continuing to explore strategic options for its Geleen facility and will provide updates in due course, the company has said.
