Linde has started up the supply of industrial gases to serve customers in the Knoxville, Chattanooga and Nashville areas of eastern Tennessee, as well as northern Alabama and Georgia.

The new air separation unit (ASU) will produce liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon, to support the growth along the interstate 75 corridor.

The new facility will add to Linde’s strong presence in the area, supporting growth opportunities across multiple end markets, and further strengthening efficient and reliable supply to customers.

"Eastern Tennessee’s I-75 corridor is seeing tremendous growth across a range of industries,” said Todd Lawson, Vice President East Region, Linde.

“With this investment, we are strengthening our production and supply network to meet the expanding industrial gas needs of customers throughout the region."
