tpgroup has announced its membership of the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (UKHFCA), joining other prominent UK players such as BOC, BP, Ceres and ITM in accelerating the development and deployment of hydrogen energy and fuel cells.

The UKHFCA’s goal is to make the UK the best place for hydrogen and fuel cells across all applications and opportunities. Its membership covers the full hydrogen energy supply chain and all fuel cell applications – and ranges from SMEs through to universities and large corporations.

tpgroup is one of the world’s most experienced organisations in managing gases such as hydrogen. Our heritage goes back over 50-years in successfully manufacturing and supporting bespoke engineered electrolyser system solutions – with ultra-high reliability and class leading safety.

This expertise coupled with broader programme management and digital capabilities are key to supporting organisations within highly regulated industries looking to meet 2050 targets – from transport through to energy and public sector organisations. tpgroup sees hydrogen as one of the critical paths to bridging the gap between renewable power and decarbonising how we travel, live and work.

“The UKHFCA offers an important platform to promote the UK’s vibrant hydrogen economy and the value that tpgroup’s expertise and experience with hydrogen brings – along with the opportunity to build partnerships. Our work with hydrogen has been recognised by the London Stock Exchange with the award of the Green Economy Mark and we are already seeing traction within the transport sector. We look forward to playing an ever more active part and collaborating with partners to support organisations on their journey to decarbonisation.” said Jon Constable, Technology & Engineering Director, tpgroup Group.
