Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems has launched Innovation Days 2026 at its advanced Innovation Centre in Bavdhan, Pune, turning cutting-edge manufacturing concepts into a live, working demonstration of the factory of the future.

The three-day showcase is set to draw a wide cross-section of industry stakeholders, including OEMs, Tier suppliers, manufacturing partners and automotive leaders.

Framed around the theme “Global Innovation, Mastered Locally,” the event highlights how global technologies are being adapted into practical, scalable solutions for Indian manufacturing. The focus is clear: as production environments become more connected, intelligent and adaptive, innovation is no longer theoretical—it is operational.

Set up as a real factory simulation, the Innovation Centre allows visitors to experience and evaluate technologies before deploying them on their own shopfloors.

The ecosystem on display integrates advanced tightening systems, battery torquing tools, virtual controller systems, vision-enabled dispensing, 2D and 3D vision solutions, glass glazing, ISRA glass decking, BIW E-Swirl applications, as well as platforms like ToolsNet 8 and ENSO controllers.

A strong emphasis on automation and screw feeding underscores the push to improve production efficiency and line productivity, with live demonstrations showing real-world applications across automotive and manufacturing use cases.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrashekhar Pathak, General Manager, Industrial Technique, Atlas Copco (India), said, “Manufacturing today is undergoing a fundamental shift towards more connected, intelligent and flexible ecosystems.

"Innovation Days 2026 are designed to bring this evolution to life through a real-world simulation of how technologies come together on the shopfloor. This platform enables customers to not just explore innovation, but experience how these solutions can be practically implemented to enhance precision, productivity and decision-making in their everyday manufacturing operations.

"This is the 2nd edition after having organised a similar event in 2025. Building on the phenomenal response from our 2025 edition, we are proud to present the second edition of the event. The overwhelming enthusiasm from customers has inspired us to bring this back in 2026 and look towards making it an annual tradition.”

The event reinforces a broader shift in manufacturing toward integrated, data-driven systems—positioning Innovation Days 2026 as both a showcase and a signal of how future-ready production is being built today.
