Birla Carbon, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality carbon-based solutions for the tire and mobility industry, will participate in Interbattery 2025, taking place from March 5 – 7, 2025, at Coex – Seoul, South Korea. As part of the US Delegation area, Birla Carbon will present its industry-leading Conductex i conductive carbon black portfolio, demonstrating its commitment to advancing energy storage technologies.

At the event, Birla Carbon will introduce Conductex i10, a new battery-grade conductive carbon black, produced at the company’s South Korea plant. This innovation builds on the success of the flagship Conductex i14, which has been widely adopted in traditional lithium-ion battery applications.

Ann Schoeb, Chief R&D Officer and Energy Systems Business Head, Birla Carbon, speaking about conductive carbon blacks from Birla Carbon said, “Industry feedback on the benefits of our Conductex i conductive carbon blacks validates the value our products deliver in use. We have been serving Asian customers for several years in traditional lithium-ion batteries, showcasing our industry-leading product quality and consistency. Our Conductex i portfolio has grown from the flagship Conductex i14 conductive carbon black. We are introducing Conductex i10 at InterBattery 2025, a battery-grade product produced at Birla Carbon’s plant in South Korea.”

Conductex i10 is designed to meet the evolving needs of energy-intensive applications, including military vehicles, commercial trucks, satellites, energy storage systems, and robotics.
