Bodal Chemicals Ltd. (Bodal) today announced its result for the 2nd quarter & Half Year ended on 30th September, 2024. Bodal has achieved standalone Q2 FY25, turnover of Rs. 428 crore, reflecting a growth of 28 per cent YoY basis. The company has reported EBITDA of Rs. 37 crore with a growth of 31 per cent YoY basis.
Bodal has achieved standalone H1FY25, turnover of Rs. 849 crore, which shows growth by 28 per cent YoY basis. It has reported EBITDA of Rs. 76 crore, with growth of 37 per cent YoY basis.
Now, the raw materials prices are stable and volumes across the division have improved. Recently, realisation are improved in Caustic Soda and Dyes Intermediates will strengthen growth of exiting business. In near future, the Benzene downstream plant, new facility in Saykha, will enhance top line and bottom-line of the company.
Ankit S. Patel, Executive Director, Bodal said, “Though there is global headwinds in chemicals industry, challenging demand environment, the company has improved revenue and volumes across the divisions. During the quarter, Dyes intermediates have performed well in volumes and margins. Also, we are expecting better performance of our caustic Unit. The demand of Caustic end use industry and prices increased recently due to supply constraints. We expect to improve performance by focusing on higher capacity utilization and product diversification.”
