Borealis announced the expansion of its strategic distribution partnership with Tegral Materials, a Vinmar company, marking a significant step in strengthening its presence across Europe and advancing sustainable packaging solutions.
Following the successful partnership established earlier this year—covering Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and Germany—Tegral will now represent Borealis in Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, effective 1 September 2025.
This expansion reinforces Borealis’ commitment to providing high-performance polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) solutions to the Flexible and Rigid Consumer Packaging sectors. By extending the collaboration, customers across Southern and Western Europe will benefit from broader regional coverage, faster access, and tailored local service.
The partnership is also strategically aligned with both companies’ focus on innovation, reliability, and sustainability. Borealis and Tegral are actively working to integrate the Bornewables portfolio, as well as Borcycle C and Borcycle M technologies, into the product offering. These innovative families use renewable feedstocks and advanced recycling technologies—underscoring Borealis’ mission to accelerate circularity in plastics.
"This expanded partnership combines Tegral’s deep regional expertise with Borealis’ leading portfolio of polyolefin solutions. Together, we can better serve our customers while supporting the industry’s transition towards more sustainable materials."
Through this enhanced distribution network, Borealis and Tegral Materials are setting the stage for greater innovation, regional resilience, and sustainable growth in Europe’s packaging markets.
