BASF Performance Material

BASF and Wall Technology are expanding strategic partnership to drive sustainable innovation in polyisocyanurate (PIR) sandwich panels for cold chain applications.

Together, they have successfully developed Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulated panels using Biomass Balance Isocyanate (BMB) - a breakthrough that reduces fossil dependency and lowers carbon footprint while maintaining top-tier performance.

By integrating the Biomass Balance (BMB) approach, they are accelerating the transition to low-carbon, energy-efficient insulation solutions and shaping a more sustainable construction industry.

Linde Engineering

Linde Engineering's joint project with BASF and SABIC has won the Gold Award at the Edison Awards 2025.

The project was honored in the category Green Energy Transition and Net Zero. It recognizes the development of the world’s first electric steam cracking furnace — now commercially available and licensed industrywide by Linde as STARBRIDGE.

This award is a powerful recognition of what’s possible when innovation meets collaboration. Together, these companies are advancing decarbonization in the chemical industry with breakthrough technology designed to slash CO₂ emissions by 95% and more.
