The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has approved the merger of Neogen Chemicals with its subsidiary BuLi Chemicals India. This consolidation will streamline operations, reduce costs through unified administration, and leverage BuLi’s organolithium compounds technology to enhance Neogen’s market position in pharmaceutical and agrochemical sector. The integration strengthens Neogen’s manufacturing capabilities and competitive edge in both domestic and international markets.

Grasim Industries

A minor process safety incident occurred at Grasim Industries' Karwar plant, Karnataka on 11th January 2025 due to power tripping led technical malfunction. Affected workers were treated at the local hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.

“Immediately, all the emergency protocol services were initiated. The plant operations have been suspended, pending internal investigation, and expected to resume operations once cleared by the concerned regulatory Authorities,” Grasim said in a stock exchange filing.
