Dhanuka Agritech receives Rs. 121.32 crore GST demand order

Dhanuka Agritech has been issued a goods and services tax (GST) demand order of Rs. 121.32 crore by Central GST Ahmedabad. The company classified and supplied various products as fertilizers/bio-stimulants under HSN 3101 and applied GST at 5%. However, the adjudicating authority has alleged that these products are, in substance, Plant Growth Regulators falling under HSN 3808, liable to GST at 18%. The company contests the demand, deeming it unjust, and is evaluating various appeal options.

Chambal Fertilisers receives order to withdraw 11 products in Haryana

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals has been ordered by the Haryana Agriculture Department to withdraw 11 non-bulk products from the state's market due to alleged violations of the Fertiliser Control Order, 1985. 

RCF updates on arbitration with Thermax

The Hon'ble High Court of Bombay vide its order dated December 9, 2025 has set aside the Arbitral Award dated June 5,2023 passed in favor of company in the matter of Arbitration between Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF) and Thermax Limited regarding recovery of damages, losses, etc. for breakdown of two Gas Turbo Generator (GTGs).
