Linde India Limited has entered into long term contract with Asian Paints (Polymers) Private Limited, a wholly subsidiary of Asian Paints Limited, for supply of industrial gases through pipeline at its upcoming manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat, for manufacturing of Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) and Vinyl Acetate Ethylene Emulsion (VAE). The company proposes to install its third Air Separation Unit (ASU) at Dahej of 245 TPD of liquid capacity together with 100 TPD of Gaseous Oxygen (GOX). The ASU shall serve Linde’s long-term goal of developing a pipeline cluster in the Dahej region.

Rossari International and Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) has inked a MoU for the development of propoxylates and ethoxylates manufacturing in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.   This collaboration is a key step in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s specialty chemicals industry, supporting local production, reducing import dependency, and fostering innovation in critical sectors such as construction and personal care.

Hitech Corporation

Hitech Corporation Limited has decided to close all operations undertaken at its “PPMF business unit” situated at 4615/16 Plastic Zone Road, Manda Village, GIDC Sarigam, Gujarat. The above closure of PPMF Unit does not have any material and adverse effect on operations of the company.

The turnover of the PPMF Unit during FY2023-24 was Rs. 6.87 crores (1.22%) being significantly low in relation to the turnover of the company i.e. Rs. 563 crores. Profit and net worth of the unit was negative 0.23% of the company’s total profitability and net worth for FY 2023-24.

Considering unsatisfactory performance of the Unit attributable to unfavourable market conditions, increase in production costs and diminishing market demand clubbed with continued operational losses, it is unviable to continue running the unit.
