Madras Fertilizers resumes operations

Madras Fertilizers Limited has informed dated 8th December 2023 that the plant was shut down from December 4, 2023, due heavy rain and cyclone winds caused by the Cyclone “Michaung”. The operations resumed on December 21, 2023.

Solar power plant of Thermax unit inundated

Thermax Limited has informed that the heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding in the state of Tamil Nadu, have led to inundation of the Solar Power Plant of our step down subsidiary, First Energy 4 Private Limited and under construction plant of step down subsidiary, First Energy 6 Private Limited located in Tamil Nadu.

The company is taking necessary measures in coordination with relevant team/authority(ies) to restore normalcy and resume the operations in a phased manner, subject to receding of water level, resumption of normalcy in power supply, material movements etc. Necessary steps for restoration have been taken and the company has intimated insurers.
