Cosmo Films has expanded its flexible packaging portfolio with a specialized range of BOPP, CPP, and BOPET films designed for the rapidly growing pet food market. This launch aims to meet the rising demand for premium, food-safe packaging driven by increased pet adoption and market premiumization in India.

The introduction includes a new high heat-resistant TR-BOPP film along with advanced barrier and lidding films, strengthening the company's commitment to delivering next-generation, food-safe packaging solutions.

Cosmo Films' new offering includes its TR-BOPP heat-resistant transparent film, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 185°C with uniform linear tear, creating a strong alternative to conventional PET print layers used in pet food packaging. The portfolio also features anti-fog transparent BOPET lidding films, COPET-coated BOPET for improved adhesion and machinability, and coated metallized BOPET films designed to provide excellent oxygen and moisture barrier performance for sensitive dry and wet pet food applications.

Ultra High Barrier (UHB) metallized BOPP films replace aluminum foil to simplify material structures while maintaining superior moisture and oxygen protection for dry food and treats.
