The strength of any future ready business lies in a future ready talent pipeline. Understanding this, in August 2023, DCM Shriram Ltd’s Chemicals business on-boarded 42 Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) under its Young Leaders Program.
The students were identified from 8 premier engineering institutions across thecountry. They will work under the guidance of an experienced domain manager with the objective of learning and gaining hands-on expertise on plant/projects operations including live projects, taking independent charge of various technical/techno-commercial roles, learning & assisting in new projects, offering suggestions on improving existing processes, conducting research/ benchmarking studies, participate in cross functional projects and analyze data to generate insights.

As part of a structured one month induction, they also attended a workshop on six core values of DCM Shriram Ltd - “I ACT ON”. This stands for “Integrity, Agility, Customer centricity, Team work, Openness, Newness”.
