Engie awards a contract to Worley for pipeline expansion

Worley’s appointment as owner’s engineer follows the successful execution of the FEED phase

Energía Mayakan (ENGIE) has appointed Worley as owner’s engineer for the Energía Mayakan pipeline expansion.

The pipeline expansion will increase transportation capacity of the Energía Mayakan pipeline from 7,079,212m3 per day (250 MMscfd) to 16,055,652m3 per day (567 MMscfd) to meet the growing demand for natural gas for power generation and gas in the Yucatán Peninsula region of Mexico.

Worley’s appointment as owner’s engineer follows the successful execution of the FEED phase.

The services provided by Worley under this contract are categorized as transitional work under Worley’s definition of sustainability-related work.
