GP Petroleums Limited, has reported a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs. 8.57 crore for the first quarter of FY 2025-26, registering a 3% growth over the Rs. 8.30 crore posted in the same quarter last year.

The company's total revenue stood at Rs. 159 crore as against a revenue of Rs. 166 crore in corresponding quarter of the previous year, indicating a notable enhancement in PBT margin, driven by improved operational efficiencies and disciplined cost management.

Arjun Verma, ED & CFO, informed that, "The first quarter of FY 2025-26 remained challenging for the petroleum sector, with fluctuations in raw material costs and subdued demand in certain segments. While several players in the petroleum and lubricants sector faced margin pressure due to the above, GP Petroleums' ability to expand margins in a soft revenue environment highlights the resilience of its business model. We continue to focus on value-added product segments and optimizing supply chain efficiencies, which will support sustainable performance in the coming quarters."
