GPCB approves resumption of operations for Aether Industries

The remaining operations at other Manufacturing Facilities (1 and 3) are normal

Aether Industries Limited has informed that the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) vide its communication dated January 5, 2024 has revoked the closure order (which was issued on account of fire accident on November 29, 2023 for unaffected areas of Manufacturing Facility 2, hence approving the resumption of operations therein, upon adhering compliances as stipulated.

The remaining operations at other Manufacturing Facilities (1 and 3) are normal and the Capex projects for the three Greenfield Manufacturing Facilities (3++, 4 and 5) are moving ahead as per plan.

Total ten casualties are reported in the unfortunate accident and the family members of the deceased workers have already been compensated ex-gratia by the company. Apart from this, the complete medical treatment expenses of the injured workers have been taken care of by the company.
