Leistritz Extrusionstechnik GmbH has reached a new milestone in its long-standing collaboration with Brückner Maschinenbau. The company is supplying a ZSE 180 MAXX – 32D extruder for Brückner’s record-breaking BOPP film line, which features a film width of 12 meters, making it the largest and most advanced of its kind worldwide.

Brückner Maschinenbau is recognized as the global market leader in lines for stretched films, offering state-of-the-art technology for packaging and technical films. With expertise in R&D, market and feasibility studies, as well as comprehensive after-sales service, Brückner ensures maximum performance and long service life of its systems. Its applications range from high-performance packaging films such as high-barrier and synthetic paper to technical films for capacitors and battery separators.

As a leading innovator in twin screw extrusion systems, Leistritz continues to strengthen its partnership with Brückner through regular deliveries of high-performance extruders. Since 2022, more than 60 main machines of the ZSE 135 MAXX, ZSE 160 MAXX, and ZSE 180 MAXX series have been delivered to Brückner. These extruders are used in a broad spectrum of applications, with growing demand in BOPP and BOPET film production, as well as in the rapidly expanding field of battery separator films.

“This extruder is a key component of the world’s largest and most powerful film line – a true flagship project for Brückner Maschinenbau. At the same time, it represents a milestone for Leistritz as a trusted partner for twin screw extrusion technology,” said Frederik Huck, Global Sales Director Direct Extrusion at Leistritz Extrusionstechnik.

“With the ZSE 180 MAXX, we are helping to elevate BOPP film production to an entirely new level. Our long-standing cooperation with Brückner allows us to deliver customized solutions that meet the most demanding requirements of the industry,” Huck added.
