Linde India Limited signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with IPICOL (Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited) to establish new industrial projects in Paradeep and Gopalpur, Odisha.
These projects contribute to Odisha's "Purvodaya" vision, which aims to transform the state into a value-added manufacturing and port-led industrialization hub for eastern India.
These agreements were part of a broader "Odisha Investors’ Meet" in Kolkata, where the Odisha government secured investment commitments totaling approximately Rs. 1 lakh crore through 27 MoUs and 19 investment intent proposals.
Prior to these MoUs, Linde India had already committed significant investments in the state, including:
- A Rs. 425 crore Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Kalinganagar to support steel giants like Tata Steel and JSL.
- A Rs. 1,303.50 crore industrial gas project in Jajpur approved in mid-2025.
- A proposed Rs. 82 crore center in Khordha.
