In response to Executive Order #14257, titled “Regulating Imports with a Reciprocal Tariff to Rectify Trade Practices that Contribute to Large and Persistent Annual United States Goods Trade Deficits,” and the subsequent “Modifying Reciprocal Tariff Rates to Reflect Trading Partner Retaliation and Alignment,” new import tariffs are being applied to certain raw materials and finished goods based on their country of origin.

As a result, starting May 1, 2025, Perstorp Polyols will introduce a new line item on all customer invoices in USA to account for these additional costs. This Tariff Surcharge will vary by product and country of origin, in alignment with the terms outlined in the executive order.
