PPG is stepping into the spotlight at the ongoing Data Center World conference and expo in the Washington, DC, showcasing its full suite of protective coatings designed specifically for data center facilities.
The global materials and coatings giant is highlighting its end-to-end offerings for interior and exterior infrastructure, equipment, and components. That includes pretreatment systems, electrocoat, liquid and powder coatings, as well as application services and custom paint line design and installation.
Many of the solutions meet key IEEE and UL standards for safety and performance in critical environments.
“We are the only company in the industry that combines end-to-end protective coating solutions with in-house application expertise,” said Juliane Hefel, PPG senior vice president, Industrial Coatings and Specialty Products.
“This helps our data center partners accelerate construction timelines and strengthen long-term operational efficiency, reliability and sustainability.”
PPG is positioning its portfolio around the growing demands of high-density digital infrastructure, emphasizing performance attributes such as EMI shielding, antistatic and fire resistance, passive fire protection, corrosion control, and thermal management designed to reduce cooling loads and maintenance costs.
“As the data center industry accelerates, owners, construction firms and fabricators are placing greater value on partners who can deliver performance, reliability and productivity for high-speed data,” said Amy Ericson, PPG senior vice president, Protective and Marine Coatings.
“Our portfolio combines all three, with comprehensive solutions for everything from the building envelope and HVAC to energy storage, flooring and power systems.”
