Praj announces Q3 FY25 revenue at Rs. 853 Cr; PAT at Rs. 41 Cr

The consolidated order backlog as on December 31, 2024 stood at Rs. 4,341 crore which comprises 67% domestic orders and 33% international orders

Praj Industries Income from operations for Q3 FY25 stood at Rs. 853 crore (Q2 FY25: Rs. 816 crore; Q3 FY24: Rs. 828.6 crore).

PBT is at Rs. 58.8 crore for the period (Q2 FY25: Rs. 74.4 crore; Q3 FY24: Rs. 91.9 crore). PAT is at Rs. 41 crore (Q2 FY25: Rs. 53.8 crore; Q3 FY24: 70.4 crore). Order intake during the quarter Rs. 1,053 crore (Q2 FY25: 921 crore; Q3 FY24: Rs. 1,037 crore).

The consolidated order backlog as on December 31, 2024 stood at Rs. 4,341 crore which comprises 67% domestic orders and 33% international orders. During Q3 FY25, India’s First National Highway constructed using Bio-Bitumen developed by Praj was inaugurated by Minister Nitin Gadkari. Roads constructed with lignin-based bio-bitumen, blended at 15% can achieve a 70% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to conventional fossil-based bitumen. The company also received a significant international order to set up 50 KLPD molasses at an Ethanol plant in Tanzania, Africa.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Shishir Joshipura, CEO & MD, Praj Industries said, “Our performance this quarter reflects resilience of the business in face of challenges on account of global volatility and uncertainty in the economy. On the strategic vectors, the company continues its positive journey as reflected in the growing order book as well as constitution of orders in favour of increasing international business. Initial delays in readying the Mangalore facility have impacted the planned business activity for the GenX business in the current year, which we expect to recover as we move forward through the next financial year.”
