The new range being manufactured at Prayag’s ISO-certified plant in Bhiwadi reinforces brand’s leadership in the industry
Prayag Polymers has launched a complete range of PVC-O (Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes. They are designed for high-pressure water distribution, irrigation and industrial applications.
These pipes are manufactured at Prayag’s facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Prayag’s PVC-O pipes are available in pressure ratings of PN12.5, PN16, PN20 and PN25 with diameters ranging from 90mm to 400mm. Offering up to 40% higher hydraulic capacity compared to conventional pipes, this new range supports faster installations due to socketed connections and allows flexible application without the need for additional fittings.
Speaking on the launch, Nitin Aggarwal, Managing Director, Prayag Polymers said, “Engineered for exceptional mechanical and hydraulic performance, Prayag PVC-O pipes offer higher impact resistance, enhanced ductility, superior hydrostatic strength and longer service life. At Prayag, innovation has always been at the heart of our operations and with the introduction of PVC-O pipes, we have contributed our bit in addressing the country’s infrastructure demands.”
Backed by advanced molecular orientation technology, these pipes are made for a wide range of applications. Prayag PVC-O pipes are suitable for irrigation systems for agricultural lands, high-pressure water supply in residential and commercial buildings, besides fire hydrant networks and industrial usage, especially in food processing and pharmaceuticals.
The manufacturing of Prayag's PVC-O pipes is based on molecular orientation. The technology significantly enhances the mechanical strength and flexibility. It ensures superior resistance to water hammer, biofilm formation and crack propagation even under extreme conditions.
