Rohm adjusts PMMA molding compounds price due to tariffs

Röhm reserves the right to react according to the tariff increases

  • By ICN Bureau | April 11, 2025

Due to ongoing geopolitical developments and planned increased tariffs affecting the worldwide trade the costs for the production and distribution of PMMA molding compounds increase. For this reason, the Röhm Group must react to the corresponding tariff increases.

Effective April 14, 2025, Röhm GmbH and its affiliates will globally adjust the prices for impacted acrylic molding compounds accordingly. Products marketed under the trademarks PLEXIGLAS (in the Americas ACRYLITE), PLEXIMID (in the Americas ACRYMID), XT Polymers, CYREX and CYROLITE are affected from this measure.

This is necessary as raw materials, intermediates and finished goods for some of Röhm’s specialty grades are subject to new tariffs. For the affected products Röhm reserves the right to react according to the tariff increases.
