Project awards in Q1 FY25 continue to support our AGM outlook
Worley announces that its awards in the first quarter of FY25 are in line with expectations and that the growth in aggregated wins in Q1 FY25 over the previous quarter and previous corresponding period support our AGM outlook. As geopolitical dynamics continue to evolve, Worley expects FY2025 to be a year of moderate growth compared to that of FY2024.
The number of wins in sustainability-related work in Q1 FY25 at 1048 wins, is higher than last quarter (840 in Q4 FY24) and on the previous corresponding period (775 in Q1 FY24). The number of detailed design awards is up on prior periods as we continue to see sustainability related projects progress to later phases, even as customers continue to actively balance their capital allocations. Early-phase projects (feasibility and FEED) across both sustainability and traditional remain consistent with prior periods.
“These project awards are supportive of our AGM outlook and demonstrate our ability to balance opportunities and risks from a combination of a diversified business and deep customer connections” said Chris Ashton, Chief Executive Officer of Worley.
