Metacon seals €7.1 million deal with Elektra for 7.5 MW electrolysis plant

Metacon will deliver a complete hydrogen production system designed to support Elektra’s growing portfolio of clean energy initiatives

Metacon AB (publ) announced the successful signing of the final contract with Elektra Power SRL, Romania, for the delivery of a 7.5 MW electrolysis plant. The agreement, valued at approximately EUR 7.1 million (equivalent to SEK 78.1 million at today’s exchange rate), marks a significant milestone in Metacon’s expansion into the Romanian renewable energy market.

The company had previously communicated that it had been selected as the preferred supplier for the hydrogen project. With the contract now finalized, Metacon will deliver a complete hydrogen production system designed to support Elektra’s growing portfolio of clean energy initiatives in the region.
