SIDRA Wasserchemie is a producer of coagulants with two production facilities located in Germany
Kemira has closed its acquisition of SIDRA Wasserchemie after receiving the green light from the German Federal Cartel Office. The deal, which was initially made public on February 11, 2026, expands and solidifies Kemira's Water Solutions footprint in Central and Western Europe.
SIDRA Wasserchemie is a producer of coagulants with two production facilities located in Germany, serving municipal and industrial water treatment customers across Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In 2025, the company reported approximately € 40 million in revenue and an EBITDA of about € 12 million. SIDRA Wasserchemie’s approximately 60 employees have now joined Kemira.
