Alka Bhagat has been appointed as the Managing Director of Chemetall India, part of BASF’s Coatings division.

An industry leader, Chemetall delivers cutting-edge applied surface treatment technologies for metal, plastic, and glass substrates.

With over 19 years of experience in consulting, healthcare, and specialty chemicals, Bhagat brings deep cross-industry expertise. She has been working with BASF since November 2018. She has earlier worked with Abbott, Bain & Company and Feedback Ventures.

Bhagat is an alumna of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (B.Tech, Chemical Engineering) and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (MBA).
