Analytik Jena, a global provider of analytical instrumentation and laboratory solutions, has appointed Santosh Kumar as Managing Director for India and neighbouring markets including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, effective January 1, 2026.

Kumar brings over 19 years of leadership experience in the industrial sector. Prior to joining Analytik Jena, he held senior leadership roles at Endress+Hauser India, most recently serving as Senior Vice President – Finance & Controlling, where he led strategic financial planning, governance, and operational excellence initiatives.

In his new role, Kumar will focus on strengthening local customer proximity, application leadership, and sustainable growth, aligned with the evolving needs of India’s pharmaceutical, chemical, materials, and environmental testing industries.

New Demo & Application Lab Planned in Mumbai

As part of its India expansion roadmap, Analytik Jena announced plans to establish a new Application & Demo Laboratory at Endress+Hauser’s facility in Thane, Mumbai, by mid‑2026.

The facility will function as a customer experience centre, offering hands‑on demonstrations of analytical instruments, application‑specific method development, technical workshops and user training programs and collaborative engagement with industry and regulatory laboratories. 

The lab will strengthen Analytik Jena’s application and service capabilities across key segments such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals and materials, environmental testing, battery and advanced materials analysis.
