Arvind Kumar, Director (Refineries) at IndianOil, has taken on the additional charge of Director (Pipelines) at IndianOil, bringing with him a wealth of experience and strategic insight. As a distinguished leader with over 35 years of experience in the petroleum industry, Kumar is renowned for his expertise in refining operations and project management.

With a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in business administration, Kumar has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic acumen throughout his career. Prior to assuming charge as Director (Refineries) at IndianOil last year, he held several key positions, including CEO & Managing Director of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) from 2021-2024. Under his leadership, CPCL achieved significant milestones in physical and financial performance, enabling the company to attain Schedule 'A' company status.

Kumar's impressive career trajectory includes key positions at IndianOil, such as Executive Director (Projects) and Executive Director & Refinery Head at Mathura Refinery during 2020-21. He has played an instrumental role in handling mega refineries and petrochemicals projects and has been accredited with Level A Certification in Project Management (Certified Project Director) from the International Project Management Association (IPMA).
