Castrol India Limited has appointed Jyoti Prakash as Vice-President & Head – Supply Chain with effect from 1 November 2024.

He will join in place of Mayank Pandey, Whole-time Director and Vice-President  & Head – Supply Chain who had relinquished on 30th July, 2024.

Jyoti brings over 19 years of leadership experience driving business projects and supply chain efficiencies across all verticals of supply chain as well as closely working with business functions to deliver value. He has had transformational contributions & experience across large scale and multi layered supply chain and business verticals.

Jyoti Prakash holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from BIT Sindri and an MBA from S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR).

He started his career with Tata Motors in their chassis assembly plant in Jamshedpur. During this stint, Jyoti led the manufacturing team in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and he was the Kaizen Champion for his unit.

Jyoti joined Castrol India Limited in 2008. In the last 16 years at Castrol, Jyoti has worked in various operational and strategic roles across planning/logistics and manufacturing. He has led end to end planning processes including capacity planning, operational planning including distribution, production and purchase planning and execution for a yearly volume of 210+ million litre. He has also led an extremely strategic manufacturing site in India.

Jyoti has led and supported key strategic projects for Castrol India to deliver on its growth agenda. He is leading the Important digital intervention on decision intelligence project for Castrol and led projects focusing on Network optimization and Product Traceability to help the organization deliver competitive advantage. He has also worked closely with business on S&OP, Service level framework and Distributor service models.
