Chemspec Chemicals has appointed Thamarai Selvan as Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company. Selvan brings 27 years of experience across the pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals sectors.

He has earlier worked with R L Fine Chem, Wanbury, Shasun, Nicholas Piramal, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, SanMar, and Gharda Chemicals in various capacitie.

He is well versed with API and intermediate manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and multi-site operations. He has consistently driven large-scale transformation, improved operational performance, and strengthened sustainability across diverse manufacturing environments.
