Coromandel International Limited has appointed Sharad Kalghatgi as  Group Vice President – EHS and Sustainability.

With an extensive career across global organisations, Kalghatgi has previously led critical EHS, ESG, and sustainability mandates at Jubilant Bhartia Group, Sajjan India, UPL Ltd., Cipla, and Mondelēz International, driving enterprise-wide strategies in operational excellence, process safety, asset integrity, and environmental governance.

His experience spans leadership roles in India and international markets, backed by earlier technical and safety-focused positions at Honeywell UOP, Shell, AstraZeneca, and Ciba, where he built expertise in process engineering, technology evaluation, risk mitigation, and global HSE framework.
