CropLife Asia selects FMC APAC President Pramod Thota as Vice President

Thota holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University

FMC APAC President Pramod Thota has been selected as Vice President of CropLife Asia. His expertise and vision will significantly contribute to CropLife Asia’s mission of promoting sustainable crop protection practices.

Thota was named Vice President and President, FMC Asia Pacific in July 2022.Prior to his election, he was president of FMC U.S.A. since early 2021, after serving as President of FMC India for four years beginning 2017.

He joined FMC in 2012 as director of strategy and development, and in 2014 was named business director of FMC Global Specialty Solutions. Prior to FMC, he worked in a variety of strategy and engineering leadership roles throughout the U.S. and India, including Booz & Company, GES Inc., Virginia Tech and WIPRO Technologies.

Thota holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (India), a Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as an MBA in Strategy from Duke University.
