Deepankar Aron (IRS C&IT: 1996) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India for a tenure of five years.
Aron has spent considerable time in Uttarakhand having served as Commissioner, CGST, before being posted in Lucknow and then, again, posted as Commissioner Appeals (GST) in Dehradun.
