Dr. Kaushik Majumder who was earlier with hubergroup as Global IT Head - IT Infrastructure, Digital and Centre of Excellence has joined LyondellBasell as Director - Infrastructure Services.   

Majumder has around 24 years of expertise in collaborating with culturally diverse, multi-geographical teams, and multiple vendors. Throughout his career, he has adopted a pragmatic approach to continuously improve solutions and resolve complex business challenges across industries, including chemicals, industrial gases, and telecommunications. He has earlier worked with BASF, Linde, Nortel Networks, HP, and Accenture. 

As a persuasive and influential C-level executive, Majumder leverages innovation and strategic thinking to drive business and technology transformation while building strong, high-performing teams in India.

Currently, Majumder leads a team of 60+ professionals, heading multiple large-scale digital transformation programs in a top management capacity. He has extensive experience directing global IT operations and managing comprehensive IT infrastructure and digital services to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Majumder’s focus is always on aligning technology with business goals, fostering innovation, and enhancing organizational performance. He has implemented a robust 24x7 Global Service Desk that significantly improved IT service delivery and user satisfaction across the organization.

He brings deep expertise in process excellence and change management, with a strong background in cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation. These technologies have been pivotal in optimizing business processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
