Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. (GACL) has appointed Samir Desai as General Manager (HR. IR&A, T&D) with effect from 1st January, 2025. 

Samir Desai has done MBA (Human Resources Management) and B.E (Mechanical Engineering) from Bhavnagar University, Gujarat. He has more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in Human Resources. 

Before joining GACL, he was working with Aditya Birla Group (Grasim Industries Chemical Division) as Department Head HR.
