Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, GAIL (India) Limited has received India's 'Best CEO' award for Oil and Gas Sector at a function held in Mumbai. The award was presented to him by Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Civil Aviation & Steel, Government of India.

Gupta has wide experience of over 34 years of Oil & Gas Industry and took charge as Chairman & Managing Director of GAIL in October 2022. Prior to this, he held the position of Director (Finance) in Indian Oil Corporation.

The award was presented at the BT Mindrush programme organised by India Today group on the basis of the company's performance for the financial year 2022-23.
