GPCA announces leadership change after 16 yrs

Mater Aldhafeeri has been appointed as his successor

The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA), the leading voice of the chemical industry in the Arabian Gulf, has announced the end of Abdulwahab Al-Sadoun’s tenure as secretary general after more than 16 years of service. Mater Aldhafeeri has been appointed as his successor.
 
The leadership transition comes as GPCA prepares to enter a new phase of transformation aimed at delivering greater value to its members.
 
Commenting on the change, Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, Chairman of GPCA, expressed his gratitude for Al-Sadoun’s long-standing contributions.
 
He also welcomed Aldhafeeri to his new role, highlighting his extensive experience. “We are confident that Aldhafeeri will build on the Association’s strong foundations, further strengthen engagement with members and stakeholders, and guide GPCA forward during a period of significant opportunity and transformation for our industry.”
 
Aldhafeeri brings nearly three decades of leadership experience across the petrochemical and industrial sectors, positioning him to lead GPCA into its next chapter.
