Geetali Thakur joins as Head of Safety Health and Enviornment, APAC for Henkel Adhesive Technologies, a German MNC and will continue to be based out of Singapore.

In her previous role, Thakur worked as APAC Regional EHS director for Givaudan, a Swiss MNC with fragrance and flavours business.

Thakur brings with her rich experience of more than 15 years of experience in EHS and has been part of Cipla Ltd, Syngenta Ltd and Deccan Fine chemicals in the past.

Thaakur is a Chemical engineer, Gold medallist, University Topper, M.Tech in Environment with MBA in Operations. She is also the first Indian woman qualified as Licentiate Faculty from British Occupational Hygiene Society, UK.

She is a member of reputed industry forums including Green Triangle Society, Indian Chemical Council and OHSSAI foundation.

She was awarded the “Woman of vision" award my Lubrizol reality plus in 2023 amongst 6 women in the industry for their contribution to the industry.

She has been an active speaker at National and International forums on various HSE topics.
