Hitachi Energy India has appointed Vishal Dewan as Head of Marketing & Sales, effective October 1, 2025. Dewan, in this new role, will drive the company’s growth strategy, strengthen customer engagement, and expand market presence across key segments.

Dewan, who will also serve as a member of the Country Management Committee, succeeds Karthik Krishnamurthi, who will be taking up a new role within the Hitachi Group.

With over 33 years of experience in the petrochemicals and energy sectors, Dewan has held leadership roles in Reliance Industries, Owens Corning, ABB, and most recently as Country Manager of Hitachi Energy in Malaysia.

An instrumentation engineer from Pune University, he has also completed executive management programs at IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad.
