R. K. Gupta has been appointed as Vice President - Production Head of Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited with effect from 3rd January, 2025. He is also inducted as a Member of Senior Management Personnel of the company.

He has been inducted in place of Kishor Shewkani, Vice President - Production Head who has resigned and will cease to be a member of Senior Management Personnel of the company, effective from January 31, 2025 however management has decided to relieve him as early as possible.   

Gupta has a Chemical Engineering background and over 40 years of experience in the operation and management of chemical and fertilizer plants. His expertise includes handling facilities with capacities of up to 1,000 TPD NPK, 800 TPD SSP, 300 TPD sulphuric acid, and producing Oleum (23– 65%), liquid SO3, and chlorosulfonic acid.

Additionally, he has extensive experience with steam turbo power generators with a capacity of up to 3.2 MW, utilizing waste heat recovery systems. He has also been involved in an international project with Subtara Chemfert Company Ltd., Bangkok, Thailand.
