Kuldeep Singh has assumed charge as new Chairman & Managing Director of HIL (India) Limited, a Government of India Enterprise, under Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.

Prior to this, he was serving as Senior General Manager in National Seeds Corporation (NSC).

Singh is a Commerce graduate and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDIM) from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi. He has over 28 years of rich experience in the agriculture (seed) sector, while handling different portfolios and departments such as head of marketing department in SFCI from 2001-2014; Head of production, marketing & legal & corporate affairs in National Seeds Corporation from 2014-23.

He also headed a number of committees in National Seeds Corporation regarding policy matters and pricing of seed. He was also Director of Rajasthan Seeds Corporation, Maharashtra Seeds Corporation, and Andhra Pradesh Seeds Corporation.
