Nayara Energy has appointed Teymur Abasguliyev as the Chief Executive Officer, effective September 2025.
With over 20 years of global energy leadership, Abasguliyev most recently served as CFO of SOCAR Türkiye Enerji, the $17 billion investment arm of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), where he drove strategic acquisitions, large-scale financings, and corporate restructuring.
Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at PwC, building expertise in finance, audit, and governance.
