Petronet LNG appoints Arun Kumar Singh as Additional Director
He has rich experience of over 35 years in the Oil & Gas Industry

The Board of Directors of Petronet LNG Limited have accorded their approval by passing resolution for appointment of Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited as Additional Director with effect from 14th December ,2022.
Arun Kumar Singh is a Mechanical Engineer with first rank from National Institute of Technology, Patna (Formerly BCE, Patna). He has joined as the Chairman of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC). He assumed charge as the Chief of the Energy Maharatna on 7 December 2022. Earlier, he was the CMD of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a ‘Maharatna’ and a Fortune Global 500 Company.
He has headed various Business Units and Entities in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) viz. Retail, LPG, Pipelines and Supply Chain Optimization etc. He has rich experience of over 35 years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Arun Kumar Singh has also held the position of President (Africa & Australasia) in Bharat Petro Resources Ltd, a wholly owned Subsidiary of BPCL, engaged in exploration of Oil & Gas, largely overseas.
He was also Chairman of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) a Joint Venture (JV) City Gas Distribution (CGD) Company, listed on Indian bourses. He was also on the Board of Petronet LNG Ltd (PLL), a Joint Venture Company, listed on Indian bourses.
