Saurav Mitra has been appointed as Director (Finance) and CFO at Petronet LNG Limited.

He brings with him over three decades of experience, including key leadership roles at Indian Oil Corp Limited (IOCL) and its overseas subsidiary, Lanka IOC PLC. At IOCL, he served in several senior finance positions such as Executive Director (Internal Audit), Chief General Manager (Finance), Head of Project Finance at the Refineries Headquarters, and Head of Finance at the Gujarat Refinery. At Lanka IOC PLC, he held the positions of Vice President and Senior Vice President – Finance & CFO, contributing to financial strategy and governance.

Mitra also served as Director at Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals LTD Terminals Limited during his tenure in Sri Lanka. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Mitra has played a significant role in financing large-scale infrastructure and energy projects and leading digital transformation initiatives like the Vendor Invoice Management System at IOCL.
