The Board of Directors of PI Industries Limited has appointed Sanjay Agarwal as Group Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from August 26, 2024.

He has replaced Manikantan Viswanathan, Chief Financial Officer, PI Industries Limited who is retiring from the company having attained the age of superannuation. Consequently, Viswanathan will cease to be Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from closing of business hours of August 26, 2024.

Agarwal is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and an accomplished Executive from Wharton Business School, is also a rank holder Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with 25+ years of diverse experience in corporate finance, investment banking, and consumer goods industry.

He began his career with Arthur Andersen, a global accounting and consulting firm and has led the HDFC Chubb Specialty Insurance Business in the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.

He then moved on to a successful Investment Banking Career leading the Equity Capital Markets and Credit Business at Edelweiss Capital, Macquarie Capital, and Adani Capital. In his last corporate role as the Chief Financial Officer of Jyothy Labs Limited, his varied experience and deep financial expertise led to immense value creation for the organization.
