Ravi Annavarapu, President, India & SW Asia, FMC has joined Calibre Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).    

As CEO, he is responsible for overall leadership of Calibre Chemicals, a Everstone (PE) backed Indian speciality chemicals multinational company specializing in Iodine derivatives, Persulfates, and Perchlorate products with footprint in India and Germany, and a global customer base for over 1,000+ customers across 100 countries. 

Till recently, Ravi was heading FMC India and was responsible for the company’s business strategy and performance in India. Ravi joined FMC in 2013 as Director of Corporate Strategy and Development and held senior commercial roles in the former FMC Health and Nutrition business, including Global Head of Marketing in 2016. Two years later, he relocated from the US to India as director of Marketing, Strategy and Business Development, and was named to his most recent position in 2019. 

Prior to FMC, he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company advising Fortune 100 specialty chemicals players in the areas of growth strategy and M&A. 

Ravi completed his B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He also holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
