SK Capital names Jason Grapski as MD to supercharge portfolio performance strategy

SK Capital, the private investment firm focused on material sciences, specialty ingredients, and life sciences, has strengthened its leadership bench with the appointment of Jason Grapski as Managing Director, Portfolio Excellence.
In his new role, Grapski will drive SK Capital’s portfolio improvement strategy, sharpening execution across portfolio companies and accelerating delivery of strategic, operational, and financial goals.
Grapski joins from Berkshire Partners, where he spent more than a decade as an Operating Partner in its Portfolio Support Group. Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President at Univar, leading strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and continuous improvement initiatives, and also worked as a Partner at McKinsey & Company.
He holds a B.S. from MIT and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
