Sujoy Choudhury, former Director, Business Development of Indian Oil Corp Limited (IOCL), has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer of Chatterjee Management Services Limited (CMSL) with effect from 1st March, 2025.

An energy professional with a background of Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, having worked in the energy sector for over 36 years would now be leading select strategic initiatives of Lummus Technology, TCG Digital, and Lummus Digital in development and marketing of products and services to large sized companies in the refining and petrochemicals segments.

He will also be part of the leadership team of Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd. and MCPI Private Ltd. pursuing strategic projects as per emerging requirements and to strengthen HPL’s business framework.

He was also a member of IOCL Board as Director (Planning & Business Development) leading the verticals of petchem, gas, alternate energy & sustainable development, exploration & production and all new businesses. He was also the Chairman of Lanka IOC, IndianOil Total, IOT Biogas and Director in Indian Oil’s JV in Canada for gas exploration and marketing. Choudhury also headed R&D and HR functions of IOC as an interim Director.
